EBOLA :o

Kiah McGill

Ebola is an infectious and generally fatal disease marked by fever and severe internal bleeding, the disease is spread through contact with infected body fluids according to google. According to pbs.org Ebola seems to be spreading at alarming rates in Africa because people who have the disease aren't speaking out about it. Many africans are trying to hide their disease instead of seeking medical assistance and don’t want to be separated from their family. As a result of this many people are becoming contaminated and not even knowing it. Other people are trying to seek medical attention but they’re getting denied because there aren’t enough doctors and they are not provided with all the tools necessary to treat this infectious disease. Ebola is different in the U.S because there are so few cases and they small amount of ebola cases present in the U.S are receiving nation wide attention so that the other American citizens may know the status of these patients. I don’t think that American citizens should be so worried about Ebola breaking out because it probably won't spread that far in the U.S. The three cases of Ebola that have been present are handled very carefully by the U.S health department. New vaccines are being created to treat ebola meaning that this disease is not if fact “never ending”. American need to think of their own ideas on how to deal with ebola because Conservative have been presenting ideas that’ll contaminate more people and twisting facts to make the disease seem like more than it is (http://mediamatters.org).
